Couple Arrested Near Montezuma for Manufacturing Methamphetamine

At approximately 4PM on Monday, April 18, Parke County Deputies stopped a vehicle northeast of Montezuma, near the intersection of C.R. 500 N. and C.R. 600 W. Upon investigation the occupants were discovered to be in the process of manufacturing Methamphetamine. The Indiana State Police Methamphetamine Lab Team assisted in the investigation. Driver, Michael Morris, 23, and passenger, Kelsie Matherly, 21, both of Montezuma, were arrested for Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Chemical Reagents and Precursors, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Syringe, and Possession of Paraphernalia. Their bonds were set at $35,000 each.
