Deputies Arrest Suspects for Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine

On April 18th the Parke County Sheriff’s Department deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and committing traffic violations near the intersection of CR 600 W and CR 500 N. During the investigation, officers located precursors to manufacture methamphetamine, controlled substances, and paraphernalia. Micheal Morris, age 23 of Montezuma, and Kelsie Matherly were arrested for Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Possession of Precursors, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Syringe, and Possession of Paraphernalia. The subjects were booked into the Parke County Jail where they have a bond of $35,000. Indiana State Police assisted with the investigation.
