Charles Marvel was a pilot, a fisherman, a mechanic – a role model, a friend and a leader – a patriot, full of kindness and strong values. He adored his children, grandchildren and the community he chose to call home in 1967. He was married to Patricia Gray Marvel 54 years and built a family and beautiful home with her. She preceded him in death in 2010, as did his oldest son, Charles E. Marvel, Jr in 2008 and his grandson, Charles David Marvel in 1996. He was a retired skilled tradesman from Chrysler, attended George Washington High School and was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and the UAW. Charles is survived by his daughter Cindi Marvel, his son Craig Marvel and wife Stacey, and his grandchildren Raymond Snyder, Candice Barr, Scott Marvel, Jeremy Marvel, Branden Marvel, Stephen Marvel, and Britni Snyder with their spouses and many great-grandchildren.
