Coach Doug Wokoun’s thoughts:
Cooper got off to an excellent start. He has some things to polish up, but overall played very well. Kylar had a pretty good round, but ran into a few minor problems. Zach hit some really good shots, but was not as consistent as he will become. Drew and Zarek also had some good things happen, but had some difficulties they were not able to overcome.
Overall, for a first effort, I was pleased. We have some things to work on, but we did a lot of things pretty well. We have some time to get things patched and polished, and I like the attitude our guys have. They are not satisfied. They know that we can get better, and I know they will put in the effort to improve.
Cloverdale (1-0) hosts Linton on Thursday. West Vigo (0-1) hosts Greencastle on Thursday.
