Jonathan Legg

Jonathan Legg, 17, of Avon, IN passed away on April 6, 2016. He was born on August 26, 1998. He is survived by his parents, Nick and Sarah Smith; his father William Legg; his brother, Ben and sisters, Emma and Sophie; grandparents Don and Irene Lange, Denny and Becky Emery, Gary and Linda Smith, Robert Legg, and Vicky Legg; great-grandparents Phil and Colleen Vincenzetti, and Maxine McCorkle; aunts and uncles Liz Sughrue (Mike), Chris Emery (Katie), Phil Smith (Ashlee), Tiff Fritz (Alex), Jenny Habayeb, and Amy Utz (Chad); and many cousins. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents Ruth and Armando Giovagnoni, and William and Willette Emery.
Jonathan was a junior at Avon High School where he was a member of the Avon Black and Gold Marching Band, Jazz Band, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He was confirmed at St. Susanna Catholic Church. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, shooting basketball with his little brother, playing video games, hunting, fishing, and paintball. Jonathan was truly the kindest soul and best son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend anyone could ever have.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Conkle Funeral Home in Avon. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-8 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Susanna Catholic Church in Plainfield. Donations can be made to the Avon Marching Band.
