The Greencastle High School Theater students will be showing “The Miracle Worker” on Friday, April 1st and Saturday, April 2nd at 7:30pm at Parker Auditorium. “The Miracle Worker” written by William Gibson takes the audience into the world of a little girl named Helen Keller who is blind, mute, and deaf. Helen acts viciously towards her family and proves to be quite the troubled youth. The parents of Helen, Captain Keller and Kate Keller, both decide that the best thing for their child is to hire another specialist. A woman by the name of Annie Sullivan is chosen to be that specialist for the family by her teacher Mr. Anagnos the director of the Perkins Institution for the Blind. Will Helen be rescued from her dark secluded world by Annie Sullivan? You have to watch the play to find out! Tickets will cost you only $5 at the door. This production is open to the public.
