Clay County Community Foundation Nearing $500,000 Goal

As of Sunday February 21st the Clay County Community Foundation’s Clay County Community Fund has raised $455,000. The goal is for the fund to reach $500,000 which means they are only 9% away from their goal. The plan for the Clay County Community Fund is to use the $500,000 as an endowment that will be used to benefit the community. In the past the Clay County Community Foundation has helped Clay Community Schools fund $71,689 worth of projects to improve schools, fund initiatives to feed the hungry and even fund equipment necessary for local authorities and emergency services. If you would like to donate to the fund all you have to do is log onto wabashvalleygives.com, scroll down to Needs Donors, and click on the Clay County Community Grant Fund link. This will take you to a page where you can donate. All donations will be matched dollar for dollar under the Lilly Endowment Inc’s GIFT Phase VI Initiative.
