Routine Commercial Vehicle Inspection Nets Fraudulent Credit Cards

Yesterday morning at 11:45, Indiana State Police stopped a tractor-trailer operating under the carrier International Enterprises for a routine commercial vehicle inspection on eastbound Interstate 70 near the 41 mile marker in Putnam County. During conversation with the driver, the Trooper  noticed suspicious activity by the driver. A search of the cab area yielded (17) seventeen credit cards with stolen credit card numbers. The driver, 49 year oldVage Papoukhain of California was taken into custody and incarcerated in the Putnam County Jail. The CMV was en route from Long Beach, California to Baltimore, Maryland.
