On February 14th the Parke County Sheriff’s Department served search warrants at several residences in rural Crawfordsville as a follow-up investigation of a recent burglary that occurred in Parke County on February 14th. Parke County Deputies arrested Robert Watt, age 34 of Crawfordsville, for burglary, theft, and identity deception, as it is believed he used the victim’s credit card at several businesses in Crawfordsville. Watt was taken to the Parke County Jail where he is being held on a $35,000 bond. Assisting with the investigation were the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, ISP and Indiana Conservation Officers. Watt may also face charges in Montgomery County for crimes related and unrelated in this investigation.
