Two Cases of Mumps Reported at IU

Two cases of the mumps has cropped up out of nowhere at Indiana University. These cases come in at weeks apart and according to health officials seem to have no correlation with one another. IU has been working with the Monroe County Health Department in attempts to seek out individuals who may have come into contact with the first two individuals infected with mumps. They are also taking extra measures and insuring that all students and staff are up to date on their vaccinations by asking them to go over their records and getting any missed vaccines taken care of.
