Commercial Driver Arrested for Illegal Drugs and Fraudulent Credit Cards

At 11:30 this morning, Indiana State Police Trooper Yan Dravigne stopped a Volvo tractor-trailer combination for an unsafe lane movement on eastbound I-70 near the 50 mile marker.

 

During conversation with the driver, Trooper Dravigne noticed indicators of possible criminal activity. A search of the vehicle yielded approximately two grams of suspected Marijuana, four and a quarter grams of suspected black tar Heroin, and 14 fraudulent credit cards containing stolen credit card numbers, all concealed in various areas of the truck cab.

 

Arrested:         Martiros Nalbandyan, age 35, of North Hollywood, California

Held in Putnam County Jail

 

Charges:          Possession of Heroin (felony); Forgery (felony); Fraud (felony); Possession of Marijuana (Misd); Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misd); and Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Misd).
