Law Enforcement and First Responders to Get Training on Naloxone

Three Indiana non-profit agencies are getting grants to train and equip law enforcement and first responders with Naloxone. Naloxone is an antidote used for heroin and prescription opiods, such as Oxycontin. Counties that are identified as being high need will receive help first from Overdose Lifeline, Indiana Naloxone Project, or Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County. Any county in the state is eligible for this training and equipment, however, as the agencies cover all of Indiana.
