Portable Concussion Diagnostic Tool

A portable concussion diagnostic tool is being developed by two Indiana University researchers. Nicholas Port and Steven Hitzeman are designing a system that can be used on the sidelines of sporting events, and they are including high schools and youth sports clubs. The technology uses eye-tracking goggles in a shoebox size device and a balance platform to detect symptoms of a concussion. The 2 researchers got the idea from the Nintendo WII gaming system!
