Danville PD Arrests 8 Involved in Drug Operations After Months Long Investigation

During the stop, illegal items were observed in plain view, and all three individuals were detained. During a search of the vehicle, approximately 17 grams of methamphetamine, 100+ illicit pills, multiple baggies, four scales, several hundred dollars, and other drug paraphernalia items were located. All three individuals were arrested and transported to the Hendricks County Jail on several charges.

The individuals arrested were soon found to be connected to an active drug investigation conducted by Detective Brent Allison. The months long investigation lead to arrest of eight individuals, the seizure of two handguns, more than 20 grams of methamphetamine, over 150 illicit pills, marijuana, syringes, and several other drug paraphernalia items. More methamphetamine, illicit pills, syringes, and other drug paraphernalia were located. The young daughter of one of the females arrested during the earlier traffic stop was also located inside the residence where the drug activity was occurring. Child Protective Services was called to the scene, and the child was removed from the home. The female homeowner was arrested and charged with several crimes, including maintaining a common nuisance.
