Aluminum Case Found Along Highway Deemed Safe

Today  December 16th around 10:30am, Indiana Department of Transportation employees were working along State Road 63, just north of the Wabash River, when they spotted an aluminum case on the south side of the southbound guardrail. The case appeared to have been placed there and not fallen from a vehicle. ISP Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians were contacted, advised of the information, and decided to come to the scene to investigate. Once at the scene, ISP EOD Technicians Troopers began to inspect the case with specialized equipment. After approximately sixty minutes, the case was deemed safe and determined to contain older small electronic devices.
