According to recent surveys Indiana has ranked 41 in the last year in Health rankings. This survey by the United Health Foundation took into account the health concerns by a state by state basis and used that data to rank them in numerical order with Hawaii being first place. Factors they took into account was obesity cases, pollution, child mortality and much more. The main reason we ranked so low is suspected to be the number of Hoosier children currently living in poverty and can’t get access to health care.
