An accident over the weekend on December 5th left a man with serious head and neck injuries. At approximately 8am deputies along with Bloomingdale Fire and Parke County EMS responded to a single vehicle personal injury accident at the intersection of 950N and 425W. After further investigation it was determined that Curtis Darrel Eppert, age 26 was heading eastbound on CR90 and drove through the “T” intersection and into a fence row. Eppert was not restrained in the crash and received serious head and neck injuries. It was determined that alcohol and excessive speed were the main factors in the crash.
