Traffic Stops Leads to Marijuana Finding

On Friday morning at 7:30, Indiana State Police Master Trooper DuJuan Presley-McFadden stopped a 2010 Nissan Passenger car westbound Interstate 70 near the 55-mile marker. The stop was made because the car driver was going 78 mph in a 70 mph zone. The driver was also following too closely.

Through further investigation it was revealed that the driver possessed approximately 15 grams of marijuana. Daniel Jones, 24, of Jasonville, was the driver, and he was taken into custody and transported to the Morgan County Jail. His charges include the possession of Marijuana and various traffic violations. Assisting the stop was ISP Trooper Adam Edwards.
