“Eddie” Ralph E. Brown passed away on 2 December 2015 after a long struggle at the Eskenazi Burn Center in Indianapolis.
He was born November 11, 1947 in Vigo County, the son of the late Victor and Marjorie (Grove) Brown. Eddie lived his life like the great outdoors that he loved, which showed in his love of nature, fishing and hunting, and driving his four-wheeler around the country side. He loved all animals, tame and wild, including domestic pets, farm animals and even a pet raccoon and skunk. Ed had seven brothers and sisters that adored his strength and child-like qualities that was uniquely his. Each of his siblings looked at him as their big brother; strong and protective, with a heart of a big teddy bear. He would help anyone when needed. Ed worked as a farm hand most of his life at the Youngblood Farm and other farms in the area. The family and friends who knew Eddie, talk of the great memories given to them prior to his passing. His pasture is now greener than ever. He will be sorely missed.
Eddie is survived by his siblings, Sally Brown, Glen Brown (Evelyn), Augusta “Gus” Brown, Victor “Vic” Brown (Vickie), Vicky Brown (Larry Kennedy), Terry Brown, Tina Mullenix (Todd); as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
