Rodney Dee Kyle Sr., 62, of Brazil, passed away on November 30, 2015 at Union Hospital.
Rodney was born December 18, 1952 in Brazil, the son of the late Francis G. Sr. and Charlotte (Baynard) Kyle. He graduated from Brazil High School in 1971 and furthered his education at Vincennes University. Rodney served his country with the United States Army. He always loved cooking and worked numerous jobs around food throughout his life. Rodney enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, watching sports, especially the Colts, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children, Rodney Kyle Jr. (Brytani), Anitra Young, LaToya Sanders (Gary); grandchildren, Alyssa Miller, Rashaun Miller, Koran Young, Jada Kyle, Jasmine Sanders, India Young, Jaleah Sanders, Gamylah Perry; great granddaughter, Saniyah Moore; brother, Francis G. Kyle Jr. (Roberta); niece, Anita Williams (Larry); nephews, Francis Kyle III, Derrick Wickware; longtime friend, Linda Brooks; as well as extended family and friends.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Amy Curry.
Services will be Friday, December 4, 2015 at 1pm at French Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Roeschlein officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday at 12pm until time of service at the funeral home.
