On November 11th at 12:10 pm, deputies from the Parke County Sheriff’s Department investigated a motor vehicle accident on U.S. 41 and C.R. 460 North in Bloomingdale. Heather White age 41 of Rockville was traveling north on U.S. 41, slowing to make a left hand turn onto C.R. 460 North. White was driving her 1997 Chevrolet truck. Robert Argue age 49 of Ludington Michigan was traveling behind White in a 2003 Freightliner Semi with a loaded flatbed trailer. Argue was unable to stop and rear ended White. White’s truck then ran off the left side of the roadway, before coming to a rest in a farm field. Heather White complained of severe pain in her neck and back. Parke County EMS transported her to Union Hospital of Clinton for her injuries. Her vehicle was heavily damaged and was unable to be driven. Argue was uninjured and was able to drive from the scene. Bloomingdale Fire Department assisted at the scene.
