Parke County Sheriff’s Department Responds to Stabbing

On November 7th at 1:15 p.m. the Parke County Sheriff’s Department responded to a stabbing at 155 Miller St. Rosedale. When deputies arrived they found an adult male victim with several wounds inflicted by a knife. A search of the area was performed and the suspect, Thomas Kirby 58 of Rosedale, was located a short distance from the residence and arrested. The victim was transported to Union Hospital of Clinton for his injuries. Kirby is being held at the Parke County Jail on charges of Aggravated Battery and Battery While Armed with a Deadly Weapon. Rosedale Police, Rosedale Fire Department and Parke County EMS assisted at the scene.
