A fire in Madison Township has claimed an entire home last Saturday October 17th. The fire started at approximately 3:30PM at a residence located on County Road 675 West 1.5 miles north of Roy Rogers Corner in Madison Township. By the time Madison Township Fire Department arrived on scene it was already too late to save the home. Reports were also coming in that the home had caused fire to spread to three other fields. The damage of the fields extended about an eighth of a mile out from the house. Thankfully nobody was home at the time of the fire. Firefighters had to battle the blaze for over four hours on the house fire alone. Assisting at the scene were Greencastle, Bellmore, Reelsville, Bainbridge and Clinton Township Fire Department.
