Attendances have been rising at Purdue’s Ross-Ade Stadium this fall. So far, the attendance has been up nearly 20 percent from last year. Last week against Virginia Tech the Boilermakers hosted 46,000 fans.
Senior Associate Athletics Director, Tom Schott, said the attendance for the first two games was higher than any home game last year. He said reduced ticket prices and the athletic boarding pass for students have helped increase attendance.
Of the 43,000 fan per game average, nearly a quarter of them have been students.
