Granville, Ohio – Paige Berliner scored both DePauw goals including the game-winner with just under nine minutes left to give the Tigers a 2-1 North Coast Athletic Conference win at Denison.
DePauw improved to 5-2 overall and 4-0 in the NCAC, while the Big Red dropped to 5-3 overall and 4-1 in the conference.
Berliner scored, unassisted, at 25:58 before Denison’s Britta Marden knotted the score on Elsie Humes’ assist at 37:32. The winning score for Berliner came at 61:02.
Denison held a 19-18 edge in shots, while each team had eight penalty corners. DePauw’s Sarah Guendert totaled six saves, while the Big Red’s Ellen Westfall had nine.
