Dane Stephen Coltharp, 26 of Brazil, passed away at his home September 18, 2015.
He was born March 20, 1989, the son of Diana Buchholz and Douglas Coltharp. He graduated from Northview High School, Class of 2008. He had worked as a welder at Lawson’s Welding, and was currently working for Townsend Tree Service.
On June 14, 2014, he was united in marriage to Alexandra Trent Coltharp at Ebenezer Church. That has been the church he has attended since he was born. His great-grandmother, Eva Zentko dedicated him to the Lord.
Dane enjoyed hunting deer and turkey. He also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his infant brother Solomon Crafton; great-grandparents, James and Eva Zentko and Edwin Buchholz and an uncle Duane Coltharp.
Survivors include his wife, Alexandra Coltharp; his mother and step-father Diana Buchholz Williams and John Williams; his father and step-mother Doug and Becki Coltharp; grandparents, Stephen and Rita Buchholz, Jim and Kay Coltharp; great-grandmother Betty Buchholz; his sister Taylor Crafton (Caleb Abney), step-siblings, Alex Williams (Suann), Nathan Williams (Morgan), and Zach Williams, Alexzandria Wallen and Kreig Wallen; aunt Denise Coltharp, uncle Dean Coltharp and special uncle, Brad Buchholz; mother in law and father in law, Michelle and Kevin Vinzant and brother in law, Mason Vinzant; other extended family, many friends and his beloved dog “Moo”.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11:00am with Rev. Bill Price officiating. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8pm at French Funeral Home and again Wednesday prior to services. Post a note of condolence at www.frenchfuneralhome.com
