DePauw Women’s Soccer Ties With Loras

Greencastle, Ind. — The Tigers capped off Family Weekend on Saturday securing a 2-2 tie against Loras.

Facing a 2-1 deficit at halftime and the majority of the second half, freshman Katie Webb scored at the 68:00 mark to send the game into overtime where neither team could score in the final two 10 minute periods.

DePauw hit the scoreboard first when Bridget Brendza found Stephanie Martin at the 10:07 mark. Loras ended the half with two goals to take a 2-1 lead at halftime.

DePauw outshot Loras 13-10 and took the advantage in corners at 6-4. DePauw goalkeeper Riley Riordan made four saves in her 110 minutes of play.

The Tigers return next Saturday when they host Oberlin.
