The Greencastle Police Department will be having a free Car Seat Clinic at the Putnam County Hospital Surgery Center Parking area on Thursday, September 17th from 5pm till 7pm. Car crashes are a leading cause of death for children 1 to 13 years old in the United States. The best way to protect them in the car is to put them in the right seat, at the right time, and use it the right way. Bring your children in and car seat technicians will check the installation of your seat and help correct anything that could make the seat safer. They will also check for recalls, expired seats, seats missing parts or labels. This event is free and open to the public.
Keep in mind that the Putnam County Hospital is currently undergoing renovations to the main entrance. Please use the south entrance to the hospital.
