Putnam County Library “Moon Night” Event

On Saturday, September 19, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, the Putnam County Library will host “Moon Night” which is dedicated to encouraging people to ‘look up’ and take notice of our nearest neighbor, the Moon. Moon Night has become an annual event for the library, and this year’s program features activities for all ages! These include moon viewing through telescopes, including DePauw’s Celestron telescope, craft projects including paper mache’ lantern making for adults, children’s crafts and learning stations, and new this year, your photographs taken on a “Paper Moon”! This event is free and open to the public.
