BRAZIL—After two lightning delays it turned out to be a beautiful night for the North Putnam girl’s golf team. The team got delayed until 5:40 p.m. at Forest Park where they were matched up the Northview Knights. The Cougars could not capitalize and lost 177-253.
Taylor Dixon led the team with a 57, Emily Eltz had a 62, Mary Timm had 66, and Anna Carrington had a 68.
This was the first full score for the Cougars this year. Coach Linda Patrick said that with three sophomores and a freshman this is a rebuilding year.
The Cougars will play next on Tuesday night at home with a 4:30 start.
