DNR: Live Birds of Prey and Bloomington Community Band at McCormick’s Creek

You can see live birds of prey up close at McCormick’s Creek State Park during a special program on Saturday, August 15th at 1pm. The event will be hosted at the nature center. Educational birds from the Dwight Chamberlin Raptor Rehabilitation Center will be on hand to visitors to see and learn about. The program is free after the regular park admission of $7 for in-state vehicle and $9 for out of state. Also the performance scheduled by the Roosters at McCormick’s Creek has been canceled. Originally the band was scheduled to play at 7pm at the amphitheater however the date and time conflicted with the band’s schedule. Instead the Bloomington Community Band will be performing at 7pm.
