Deputies Conduct Traffic Stop Which Results in Two Arrests

On August 10th Parke County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for several violations on State Road 59 near County Road 500 South. During a search of the vehicle and occupants, deputies located marijuana, paraphernalia, controlled substances, and a syringe. The driver, Patricia Blacketer age 34 of Brazil was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and cited for driving while having a suspended license. The passenger, Timothy Blacketer, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of a syringe. Both subjects are being held at the Parke County jail on a $10,000 bond. Rockville Police Department and their K9 Elite also assisted with the stop.
