Shots Fired, Police Chase, and Standoff by Bainbridge Man

50-year old Donald Inman has been charged with six felonies and one misdemeanor after a standoff with police and firing shots at Denver McMurtry. It is reported that Inman was at McMurtry’s residence to shoot the windows out of McMurtry’s car. Denver McMurtry then looked to see what was going on before dodging a shotgun blast from Inman just in time when fired from only about three feet away. McMurtry had only minor injuries after the shotgun blast passed him so closely. Inman also later shot out the windows of Jack Watson Sr’s vehicle. A police chase ended with Don Inman and his truck in a field behind the residence of McMurtry. An almost two-hour standoff with the police followed before Inman was taken into custody.
