Virginia Belle Schlatter, 90, of Brazil, passed away, on February 2, 2018, while living at Cloverleaf Nursing Home.
Virginia was born May 29, 1927, in Clay County, the daughter of Virgil and Stella Hadley. She graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1945. Following high school she attended Brown’s Business School. Virginia worked as a secretary at Quaker Maid for many years and retired when the plant closed. She married Carl Schlatter in 1962. He passed away on December 14, 1985. After retiring she loved to travel and had traveled to Australia, England, Ireland, and New Zeland. She also enjoyed traveling to Florida with her friend Don, during the winter months.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Stella Hadley; her husband Carl Schlatter; her brother Don Hadley and a sister that passed away at birth and a nephew Danny Joe Hadley.
She is survived by her long-time friend Don Moon as well as several nieces and nephews.
